Randy Tooker
Chief Executive Officer


A Placer County native and graduate of Del Oro High School, Randy has been employed with the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County since 2002. He assumed the role of CEO in January 2007 after working as a Site Director at our E.V. Cain Clubhouse and as the Director of Operations. Randy attended Sierra Community College, and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University. He is a McCabe Executive Leadership Fellow and Sierra Health Foundation/USC Marshall School of Business Leadership Fellow. He is also an active Rotarian. When he is not working, Randy enjoys camping with his family, playing with his kids and golf.

Jenn Paulsen
Director of Programs


Jenn got her start with Boys & Girls Clubs in 2005 as a part time Art Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura in southern California. After two years Jenn was asked to be the Site Director at the Club’s Westview Center, which served children and youth in a public housing complex. Jenn spent five years developing the Westview Center’s programs and activities and she is particularly proud of the growth the site experienced during her time there. From 2012 to 2013 Jenn served as the Site Director of the Club’s Oakview Center, a large club in a more rural area of Ventura County, and in August 2013 Jenn was hired as the Director of Programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County. In her free time, Jenn loves to be outdoors – hiking, camping, or relaxing near a lake. She also enjoys country line dancing and being “Aunt Nenny” to her three nieces.

Topher Matson
Director of Development


Topher joined Boys & Girls Club of Placer County in 2015, first as a Board Member and then assuming the role of Director of Development. He comes to the Club from William Jessup University, in Rocklin, Calif. where he served as Marketing Coordinator, overseeing the growing university’s marketing efforts and magazine publication.

Topher was born and raised in Northern California. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Fermanian Business & Economic Institute at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. His experiences serving youth include school aftercare programs, summer camps, youth retreats and volunteering. Topher is passionate about rallying long-term partners to champion the cause of Great Futures – while being transformed in the process.

When he isn’t on a trail or exploring Placer County backroads with his lovely wife, Kelly, Topher is building out his 1924 Ford Model T Speedster as an active member of the Mother Lode Model T Club.

Kelly McCaughna
Executive Assistant & HR


Kelly began working at the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County in July 2008 as an administrative assistant. In July 2012 she was promoted to Executive Assistant and in August 2013 she also took over human resources duties. Kelly was raised in Santa Cruz, California and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education from San Jose State University. In her free time Kelly loves creating and viewing art, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Stacia George
Development Associate


Raised in the town of Placer County, Stacia has a passion for serving her local community. Stacia graduated from CSU Sacramento with a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations. Coming from a background in teaching, she has a strong understanding of the importance of developing the well-rounded child. Following her time as a teacher, Stacia served the community as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, where her love for serving the Placer County and building her event planning, fundraising, and administrative skills were first realized. Stacia worked for several years in the government sector as a Deputy Clerk before joining Boys & Girls Club of Placer County. Stacia also enjoys teaching Zumba classes, teaching Sunday School lessons in her son’s kindergarten Sunday School class, and running along the hills of Auburn.

Stacia is excited to join the Club and put to use her event planning skills and fuel her passion for serving the youth of Placer County.

Katrina Ludwigsen
Site Director, Mullin & McAdams Clubhouse


Katrina joined the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County as a Youth Development Specialist in 2007. In 2012 she took on the role of Site Director of our Rock Creek Clubhouse, located on the grounds of Rock Creek Elementary School in North Auburn, where she oversees programs for first through eighth grade members. Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County Katrina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, Multiple Subjects Teaching and worked as a student teacher at an elementary school. Katrina also holds a Master’s degree in Human Services. When she is not working, Katrina enjoys spending her time hiking, reading and running.

Katie Lewis
Site Director, E.V. Cain Extension


Katie joined the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County in 2010 as the Teen Center Director before becoming the Site Director at the E.V. Cain Clubhouse, located on the grounds of E.V. Cain Middle School in Auburn. Having previously served as Art Director at Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area, Program Director at Boys & Girls Club of East County, Well Park Unit, and Program Director at Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego, Clairemont Branch, Katie brings to our organization extensive history and experience with Boys & Girls Clubs. Katie’s educational background includes art and recreation administration. When she is not working Katie enjoys spending time with her kids, photography, and arts and crafts.
